SEMINAR ON First Independent Hydropower Producer (IPP) in Pakistan New Bong Escape Hydro-Electric Power Complex (84 MW)

The presentation is about First independent hydropower producer (IPP) in Pakistan/AJ&K with installed plant capacity of 84 MW; annual electricity generation of 470 GWh, situated near the New Bong Escape, some 7.5 Km downstream of the Mangla Dam and 120 km from Islamabad capital city of Pakistan. Developed under B.O.O.T mechanism and to be transferred free of cost to the Government of AJ&K at the end of the 25 year term.
All 47 project management processes were successfully implemented during all stages of this project. The presentation explains the successful implementation and execution story of the NBE power project.

The speaker for the seminar is Abdul Raheem Samee, PMP, PMI-RMP
Abdul Raheem Samee is a PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP)®, Project Management Professional (PMP)® and Professional Electrical Engineer specialized in power and electronics with excellent academic background, solid professional career, demonstrated achievements in leading cross-functional teams while creating and launching new initiatives.

He has memberships of Project Management Institute (PMI) and Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). He has worked in Roshan Packages Private Limited, Pakistan Tobacco Company and Jinnah Hydro Power Project. Currently He is working with Consortium Andritz Hydro GmbH and Andritz (CHINA) Ltd.
